| Short description | This plantation is located in the western part of Assam, close to its capital city of Guwahati, at an altitude of only 48 m above sea level. The area, which was first cultivated around 1880, is an arid ecosystem, which is a result of rather dry winter seasons, moderately humid-warm summers and periods of monsoon rain. The teas predominately present a medium body, but are all very well-balanced with a malty, doughy flavour and slight hints of spices and herbs. |
